ok, i feel the same, only one memory, well 1st, i loved that i lived with you for 3 years! that is awesome. so many awesome memories from snow, only a few from utah state- just because i was ornery all year, oh well. but i remember one night up there, you were asleep and i was praying, getting into bed, and you started signing in your sleep and talking too - it was so funny, i loved sharing a room with you! oh, and one more thing, remember breaking into #1's apt at snow and putting up signs saying while you were fishing in the dark we were fishing in your apartment? that was seriously one of the funnest years of my life! oh lanes, i love you!
how funny that MY first memory was of you sleeping when we were roommates. only, mine is of you falling asleep on the couch practically every night, and of trying for hours to wake you up before i went to bed. i can't remember if i later started physically leading you to bed, or if i stopped doing that because you were so cranky to be woken up! (i can't remember because i know my mom finally gave up on me when i would do the same thing because i was so raunchy. so i'd wake up at like 3 in the morning on the couch.)
i also remember when you were so sick, and gagged every single time you had to blow your nose because snot grossed you out so bad. you gagged at your own snot! i miss you!!!
I have a lot of memories of fun things between Emma and Brooklyn, but I was trying to think of one just about you. I guess I would have to go with all the hanging out and chatting we used to do in the mother's room every Sunday when you and I first moved here. It was the only time we could have a grown up conversation! :) I also just remember how great it was to move here not knowing anyone and to find such an instant friend in you. Maybe someday we'll end up back in the mother's room together again! Love you Lanes!
Kat's and Cinda's memories also remind me of a sleeping memory. Actually, it was trying to keep you from going to sleep. Remember how I'd "have a question for you" as you were going to bed and two hours later you were still awake? YES! It worked! But there is always the Dr. Mario/Baywatch memory that cracks me up the most. I had so much fun with you down at Snow and at UVSC. Oh yeah, remember how you insisted for an entire semester that Dr. John give shorted you 2 points on a test. "I want my two points!" Thanks for being a great friend. I miss the good times!
hello... one memory! Are you kiddin' me. I have so many memories of you Lanes starting with jumping on your tramp after school in junior high. From that day forward the memories began and then multiplied time 100 when we went to Snow College. I remember country swinging, your cooking (hello caseroles) and our many many talks in our room late at night with the lights off and us just laughing. You are such a good friend. I have used your example throughout my life. love ya girl!
