I know that I rarely post (okay, never might be more appropriate), but this is too good to pass up, and Elena wouldn't be willing to let this photo see the light of day if I let her know that it existed.
This photo is evidence of why Elena is the best mom ever. I am of the opinion that kids do not belong in our bed during the night. Elena and my sleep is valuable, and when the kids join us I end up with feet in my back, or getting relegated to the edge of the bed so the kids can spread out and be comfortable. Last night I woke up at 2:00 AM to find Brooklyn sleeping in our bed, so I quietly and gently (like a loving father who was not at all frustrated)
got up and moved her to back to her room. I then slept soundly through the night assuming that everything was hunky dory.
You can imagine my surprise when I woke up, turned over to give Elena a "good morning, I love you" kiss and I saw this:
YES! Elena is a great mom and now the world knows (or at least the 6 people who read our blog)! I do think Elena is a great mom and feel very lucky that she was willing to settle for me as her husband.
