Well, I guess it is time to start updating this page since Elena just sent out the weblink. I am not sure how we are going to do this, but we will give it our best shot.
As Elena said in her email, we are loving Madison, Wisconsin. The weather is beautiful right now and we have been able to do a lot of things outdoors. It seems weird to be able to go outside during the summer and enjoy it.
I am loving my new job at Epic. Right now I am busy getting trained on the software I will be supporting and the programming languages that are used within the company. Training will last for 3-4 months for me. I love to learn, so it has been a lot of fun.
Elena has been busy getting the townhouse we are renting set up. As she mentioned we love having a basement to store stuff and even let Brooklyn ride her bike around in the house. She has also been pretty active with some of the other people in the ward. She attends a weekly play group with the kids. I think they went to a farm earlier this week where the kids could pet the animals.
Brooklyn and Dallin are definitely our pride and joy. Brooklyn is demonstrating her full personality with unabashed fervor. She loves being able to do things by herself and demonstrate her independence. Dallin is developing his own personality. He is usually very easy going and fun to be with, but he too has inherited a little bit of an attitude that comes out when he doesn't get his way. He is scooting all over the place and keeping Elena very busy.
There will be more to come, but I wanted to get at least something posted so there is something to show on the blog.
