SNOW!!!

I just wanted to say it is April 28th and snowing!!! I am so done with the cold I want it to be warm again! I want the sun, parks, gardens, flowers, swimming, all that good stuff.
Thats all, just a little complaining to do.

(Ok, it isn't this bad, just some flurries, but that fact that it is cold enough to snow still is frustrating!)

Our New Pet

Here is the duck, nest and eggs that have taken up residence right out side our back door. I went out for a jog last week and the duck jumped out of the bushes and freaked me out! But only yesterday did we notice the nest and eggs! It is kinda fun and I am sure we will be watching carefully for the eggs to hatch!

growing Growing GROWING!

3 weeks old to 8 weeks old

Gotta love the belly shirt vests!

I can't believe how they are growing! I don't think this picture does them justice.
They have been starting to smile too! It is so fun to watch them grow and to watch Brooklyn and Dallin love on their babies and be concerned for them when they are crying. They love their little brothers! Thank goodness there isn't too much jealousy!

Here is Colby with all the toys his brother and sister shared with him.

(and yes, this is Colby even though he is wearing blue)

Lotion, Pee, Sugar etc!

I am think I am learning to have a sense of humor about the trouble my kids get into...

Story #1: Brooklyn and the Lotion

Brooklyn and Dallin are now sharing a room (since the arrival of the twins), but I have found that nap time doesn't happen if I put them in the same room, so Brooklyn gets to take a nap in mommy and daddy's bed.

Well, the pictures below show what happens when a curious 3 year-old finds a bottle of lotion during nap time. I jusy wish I had taken a picture of her when she came down...Her face was covered with a THICK layer of lotion. her hands, feet and clothing were also covered. The only reason she stopped was because the lotion was gone!

Later that day she had an accident...this was one of my first days by myself...I was in tears. But I decided that I needed to step back and realize it wasn't the end of the world.

Story #2: Dallin and the Sugar
A few days later...I had decided to take pictures before clean up started. Notice Dallin's hair.

Another Dallin incident: Dallin was playing in some water in the kitchen sink while dinner was being prepared. The next thing I know Parker was screaming. Dallin had filled a bottle with water and dumped it on Parker. This was in his first few weeks of life, I wasn't happy...but it is just water.

Life has been a little crazy, but overall we are doing fine. Mostly due to our amazing moms who were here for the first 4 and a half weeks. Also the incredible ward full of people bringing us dinner, coming in to hold the babies, an those who have taken Brooklyn ad Dallin out to the park, library or to their house. We have been so blessed!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

A whole lot of pics for your enjoyment (click each picture for full-sized view!!)

Colby and Parker in their Crib...they don't usually sleep this close : )

OK, now I know twins are supposed to have an extra special bond,
but I don't think that means you can pick each others noses!!!

Parker and Colby...I think they look SO different in this picture! Colby is a chunk!
