our first swim of the season. it would have lasted only 10 minutes if my sister and her family didn't come too. thanks! it was fun!

Constant construction...

But overall, its loads of fun. We have two houses right by us just starting and another neighbor will start soon. Hopefully we will have all the construction done at once!




Dallin is loving all the equipment, but I need to learn the names of all of them! Any recommendations on some good books I can check out and become a true mom of 3 boys?

I just loved this cute old man digging the hole for the house. When standing, he is all hunched over and fragile looking. It's pretty amazing that he is still working!

Brooklyn and Dallin were playing the "try to catch me" game (with my camera) ...fun for all. I get to play with my camera and they love to come see the pics!

The Story...

On Tuesday night Brandon had to work late and didn't return home until 11 pm! So when he walked in with flowers and chocolates and said they were just because he was late, I was thrilled and didn't bat an eyelash. What a great husband to bring flowers for such a little thing as working late. Isn't he great!?!?

Well, the next morning when I was trying to ignore the fact that I needed to get up for aerobics, Brandon turned to me and said, "Happy anniversary!"
Oh My HECK! (yes, I am from Utah and say that all the time) Did I seriously forget my anniversary? I can only blame it on the fact that we just moved into our house a week ago and things are still a little crazy. Not much of an excuse, but that's all I got.

Then Brandon surprised me by taking the day off. And last minute we had babysitters between my amazing mom and my two wonderful sisters, Lori and Cami. Thank you thank you thank you!!! We spent almost the whole day together without the kiddos (whom we love, but it was fabulous without the kids!).

Warning, when you forget your anniversary, your husband is entitled to a really nice gift ;) I hope he like his new TV! (Just kidding, our TV was struggling...it was time!)

Happy anniversary babe! It has been a great 6 years!

Brooklyn's first dance recital...

She was so excited to wear makeup and perform. She did great! All the girls struggled a bit without their amazing teacher (Amberly) doing it in front of them, but she really tried hard. And hey, they are 4...it is to be expected. There is one part where she always sat down in the dance (not sure why) but that was her big accomplishment, not sitting down :). Way to go Brooky Babe'

We got her some flowers and she was in seventh heaven! She just kept smelling, showing and talking about them.
I love that even at 4, she is a true girl....loves getting flowers.
